Casper ‑ Cart Sync vs Request For Quote by CCfor Shopify (2026)
Casper ‑ Cart Sync and Request For Quote by CC, despite sharing the 'Wholesale' category on Shopify, address vastly different needs. Casper focuses on improving conversion rates by ensuring logged-in customers never lose their carts, regardless of the device they use. It promises a seamless, behind-the-scenes experience, automatically saving cart changes and retaining cart history for 30 days. Its primary strength lies in its ease of use and potential to recover lost sales due to abandoned carts, targeting merchants who want to optimize the existing purchasing process for logged-in users. Request For Quote by CC, conversely, caters to businesses that require a more personalized and often complex sales process. It allows customers to request quotes for products, enabling merchants to engage in detailed discussions and offer customized pricing. This app excels in situations where products require specific configurations or quantities, making it suitable for merchants who deal with bulk orders or require a more involved sales process. Its customizable forms and email templates provide flexibility in how quote requests are handled. However, it suffers from a significantly lower rating and fewer reviews, raising concerns about its reliability and user-friendliness.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking to streamline their existing sales process and reduce cart abandonment among logged-in customers, Casper ‑ Cart Sync is the clear choice. Its focus on automatic cart synchronization and ease of use offers a quick win in terms of improved conversion rates. However, this is limited to logged-in users only. The minimal setup requirement makes it ideal for merchants with limited technical expertise or those who prefer a hands-off approach.
Request For Quote by CC caters to a different niche – businesses requiring a more consultative sales approach. If you sell products that require customization, quantity-based discounts, or generally necessitate pre-sale discussions, then this app is the better fit. However, the low rating and limited number of reviews raise concerns about its reliability and the complexity of its setup. Merchants choosing this option should be prepared to invest more time in configuration and potentially address any issues that arise.
