Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on social media customer support with a relatively low volume of inquiries and a preference for simplicity, CB: Social Media Inbox+Support *might* be a suitable option, assuming it delivers on its promise of streamlined social media inbox management. However, the lack of details and low review count make it a riskier choice.
Replyco ‑ eCommerce Helpdesk is the better choice for merchants operating across multiple sales channels and social media platforms with a higher volume of customer inquiries. Its comprehensive feature set, including centralized inbox, customer data integration, and automation tools, offers significant advantages in terms of efficiency and customer support quality. Despite the lower rating, the higher number of reviews indicates more users have experience with the app and that the rating may be a more accurate representation of its real-world performance. Therefore, Replyco is generally the safer and more robust solution for most Shopify merchants requiring a full-fledged helpdesk.
