Our Verdict
For merchants seeking comprehensive control over their ordering process, implementing various restrictions such as pre-orders, customer-specific rules, and simultaneous purchase limits, CC Order Rules is the more suitable choice. The Cart and Checkout Validation API integration allows for advanced customization. However, the app's single review suggests caution and further investigation is warranted.
Conversely, Extendons Quantity Selector is ideal for merchants prioritizing an enhanced user experience during quantity selection and aiming to boost their average order value. Its focus on customizable buttons and real-time validation provides a smoother and more intuitive process for customers. It's a targeted solution for a specific problem rather than a broad solution for order management. The slightly higher number of reviews gives a marginally greater degree of confidence but still warrants further research.
