CCL Hide Payment Methods vs Snap Cash On Delivery: COD Feefor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, CCL Hide Payment Methods and Snap Cash On Delivery: COD Fee both target Shopify merchants looking to customize payment options, but they address different needs. CCL Hide Payment Methods offers broad payment customization, allowing merchants to sort, reorder, rename, and hide various payment methods based on diverse conditions like cart total, shipping method, or customer location. This positions it as a flexible solution for optimizing the overall checkout experience and potentially increasing conversion rates. It seeks to give merchants granular control over how payment options are presented to customers. Snap Cash On Delivery: COD Fee focuses specifically on mitigating the risks associated with Cash on Delivery (COD) orders. It aims to reduce RTOs and operational costs related to fraudulent COD orders by enabling merchants to add COD fees, limit COD availability based on order value, weight, customer history, or product selection, and even hide COD for potentially high-risk customers. This makes it a targeted solution for merchants significantly impacted by COD fraud and seeking to protect their bottom line. Snap COD focuses on mitigating financial risk related to a single payment type.
