CedCommerce MCF Connector vs GoBolt Merchant Portalfor Shopify (2026)
CedCommerce MCF Connector and GoBolt Merchant Portal both aim to streamline order fulfillment for Shopify merchants using third-party logistics (3PL). However, they cater to distinct needs. CedCommerce MCF Connector specifically integrates with Amazon's Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) service, enabling merchants to leverage Amazon's infrastructure for order fulfillment. This makes it ideal for businesses already using or considering using Amazon MCF. The GoBolt Merchant Portal, on the other hand, is a more general-purpose solution centered around GoBolt's own fulfillment and delivery network covering major US and Canadian metros. The key difference lies in the logistics provider. CedCommerce locks you into Amazon MCF, offering features tightly integrated with their services like inventory syncing, bundled product management within MCF, and MCF order policy management. GoBolt offers a broader solution within *their* network, boasting features like real-time order monitoring, varied shipping options through GoBolt's carrier network, and multi-location fulfillment optimized within the GoBolt system. GoBolt also stresses customer-centric logistics, emphasizing increased visibility and control for merchants to improve customer service within *their* network.

Our Verdict
If a merchant's strategy is centered on leveraging Amazon's Multi-Channel Fulfillment, CedCommerce MCF Connector is the clear choice, providing specific integrations for inventory syncing, product linking, and order policies within the Amazon MCF ecosystem. Its value lies in automating and streamlining operations *within* MCF.
For merchants seeking broader fulfillment services, particularly within GoBolt's coverage area in the US and Canada, and prioritizing real-time visibility and control over their logistics, the GoBolt Merchant Portal is more suitable. It emphasizes proactive order management and customer-centric logistics within the GoBolt network.
Common Questions
Which app offers better inventory management?
Both offer inventory management, but CedCommerce's inventory management focuses solely on auto-syncing with Amazon MCF inventory levels. GoBolt focuses on providing merchants inventory management capabilities *within their fulfillment network*.
Which app is better for merchants outside the US and Canada?
CedCommerce MCF Connector could still be a viable option if the merchant intends to leverage Amazon's global MCF capabilities. GoBolt Merchant Portal's coverage is primarily limited to the US and Canada.
Does CedCommerce offer real-time order tracking like GoBolt?
While CedCommerce automates fulfillment through MCF, the provided information doesn't explicitly detail real-time order tracking. GoBolt emphasizes real-time order tracking across all stages within their network.
What is the biggest difference in terms of the logistics provider?
CedCommerce MCF Connector is specifically and solely integrated with Amazon's MCF service. GoBolt, on the other hand, operates its own fulfillment and delivery network.
Which app is simpler to set up and use?
Without user experience details, it is hard to say definitively. However, CedCommerce might be simpler to set up *if* a merchant is already using Amazon MCF because it mainly involves connecting the Shopify store to an existing Amazon MCF account. GoBolt could require more configuration to utilize the network and select appropriate shipping options.
