Our Verdict
Choosing between Chargeback Specialist and CustomerGenius depends on the specific fraud risks faced by the Shopify merchant. If the primary concern is chargebacks and disputes, particularly for high-volume stores dealing with a significant number of these issues, Chargeback Specialist appears to be the more suitable choice due to its AI-driven approach and human review. However, if discount code abuse is a major problem, CustomerGenius offers a focused solution to detect and prevent this specific type of fraud, especially beneficial for stores heavily reliant on discount codes and using platforms like Recharge and Shipstation.
