Chargeback Specialist vs Deliverlitics: Stop Scammersfor Shopify (2026)
Chargeback Specialist and Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers both aim to reduce fraud and chargebacks for Shopify merchants in 2026, but they take fundamentally different approaches. Chargeback Specialist focuses on *responding* to chargebacks that have already occurred. It automates the chargeback response process using AI and human review to recover lost revenue. Its strength lies in its ability to analyze chargeback guidelines and build compelling defenses, especially for high-volume stores already dealing with frequent chargebacks. Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers, on the other hand, prioritizes *preventing* fraudulent orders by identifying and blocking high-risk orders *before* they are fulfilled. It leverages merchant-side data, like returns and support requests, to detect delivery scams, making it suitable for businesses struggling with those specific types of fraud.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Chargeback Specialist and Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers depends on the specific pain points a Shopify merchant is experiencing. If a store is already facing a high volume of chargebacks, especially unfair ones, Chargeback Specialist is the better choice due to its AI-powered dispute resolution and human oversight. Its focus is on recovering revenue that would otherwise be lost. However, if a store is primarily struggling with delivery scams and 'friendly fraud' where customers falsely claim non-receipt, Deliverlitics: Stop Scammers offers a more proactive solution by preventing those fraudulent orders from being fulfilled in the first place, safeguarding margins before chargebacks even become an issue.
Common Questions
Which app is better for preventing fraud before it happens?

Which app is better if I'm unsure about the cause of my chargebacks?
Chargeback Specialist, with its AI-powered analysis and human review, might be better for understanding the root causes of chargebacks, as it analyzes the details of each dispute to build a response. Deliverlitics is more targeted at delivery-related scams.
Can I use both apps together?
Yes, the apps can complement each other. Deliverlitics can reduce the number of fraudulent orders, while Chargeback Specialist can handle the inevitable chargebacks that still occur, providing a comprehensive fraud management strategy.
