Chargeback Specialist vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
Chargeback Specialist and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator both aim to improve workflow automation for Shopify merchants, but target vastly different pain points. Chargeback Specialist focuses on revenue recovery by automating chargeback responses and preventing fraudulent disputes using AI and human review. It positions itself as a solution for fast-growing eCommerce brands and high-volume stores struggling with chargebacks. SupaEasy, on the other hand, assists merchants in creating and migrating Shopify Functions to customize discounts, payments, delivery, and validation without requiring coding expertise. Its target audience includes Shopify Plus users migrating from deprecated Scripts and any merchant wanting advanced checkout features. The core difference lies in their functionalities: Chargeback Specialist recovers lost revenue from chargebacks, while SupaEasy enhances checkout customization. Chargeback Specialist emphasizes AI-powered responses and human review for accuracy. SupaEasy highlights its ShopTank award, AI assistant for function generation, and its ability to migrate old Scripts. While both leverage AI to some extent, Chargeback Specialist leans more towards AI-driven analysis of disputes, while SupaEasy uses AI to generate functional code based on user input. While both have perfect 5-star ratings, SupaEasy boasts significantly more reviews (162) compared to Chargeback Specialist (7). This discrepancy might indicate a wider user base and longer market presence for SupaEasy, although Chargeback Specialist's laser focus might explain the lower count.

Our Verdict
If your primary concern is managing and winning chargeback disputes, and preventing fraudulent activity, Chargeback Specialist is the clear choice. Its AI-powered responses combined with human review provide a specialized solution for revenue recovery in that specific area. The 'One-Click Activation' also suggests a simpler initial setup.
However, if you're looking to customize your checkout process by adding discounts, modifying shipping options, or validating customer input, SupaEasy: AI Functions creator is the better option. It's particularly valuable if you're a Shopify Plus user migrating from Scripts. The sheer number of reviews also suggests a more mature and widely adopted product, providing a safer bet in terms of reliability and community support, although the low review count of Chargeback Specialist could also indicate newness.
