Our Verdict
Choosing between CHARGIFY Extra Fee and POS Variable Priced Products depends entirely on your business needs. If you're primarily an online store looking to recoup costs by adding surcharges to orders, CHARGIFY Extra Fee is the relevant app, despite its lower rating. However, be mindful of customer perception regarding added fees. If you operate a brick-and-mortar store using Shopify POS and sell items with prices that fluctuate (e.g., based on weight, materials, or condition), POS Variable Priced Products is the superior choice. Its higher rating and features like COGS tracking and inventory management make it invaluable for managing variable pricing scenarios within a POS environment.
