Our Verdict
The choice between Chat ON Desk and CRM PLUS on LINE depends heavily on the merchant's target audience and preferred communication channels. If a merchant is struggling with fraud, high COD return-to-origin (RTO) rates, and their customer base is active on WhatsApp, Chat ON Desk is the clear winner. Its OTP login and automated WhatsApp order updates directly address these pain points. On the other hand, if the target demographic heavily uses LINE, particularly common in some Asian countries, CRM PLUS on LINE provides a more effective way to engage customers, leveraging LINE's features and integration with Shopify data to deliver targeted messages. CRM PLUS on LINE appears to have gained more traction, as evidenced by the higher number of reviews.
