Our Verdict
For merchants heavily focused on combating return-to-origin (RTO) losses from Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, reducing fraud, and actively engaging customers through WhatsApp, Chat ON Desk is the clear choice. Its OTP login, cart recovery, and order updates directly address these concerns. On the other hand, Discord Connect is better suited for merchants who already have a thriving Discord community and want to integrate it with their Shopify store, offering exclusive perks, discounts, and early access to product releases. If a merchant has no established Discord presence, Discord Connect would require significant effort to build a community before the app's benefits can be realized.
