Chaty: WhatsApp & Chat buttons vs Fordeer: Product Labels&Badgesfor Shopify (2026)
Chaty: WhatsApp & Chat buttons and Fordeer: Product Labels&Badges, while sharing the 'Design elements' and 'Badges and icons' categories on Shopify, serve distinctly different purposes for merchants. Chaty focuses on enhancing customer communication and support by providing a centralized chat widget that connects to various messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Telegram. This aims to improve sales conversions and lead generation through readily accessible live chat. Fordeer, on the other hand, is geared towards boosting sales through visual cues, using badges and labels to highlight promotions, discounts, and product features, thereby influencing purchase decisions. Chaty excels in providing diverse communication channels, customer engagement, and facilitating direct customer support. Fordeer shines in visual merchandising and leveraging urgency or promotions to drive sales. The choice between the two depends heavily on the merchant's priorities: improved customer service and accessibility versus enhanced product presentation and promotion-driven sales.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing direct customer engagement and immediate support, Chaty is the clear winner. Its multi-channel chat integration enables seamless communication and can significantly improve customer satisfaction. However, if the primary goal is to boost sales through visual merchandising and highlighting promotions without the need for direct customer interaction, Fordeer offers a more targeted solution.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on the merchant's specific business needs and priorities. A store heavily reliant on customer interaction will benefit more from Chaty, while a store focused on visual promotions and automated sales tactics will find Fordeer more valuable.
