Our Verdict
Chaty is the superior option for merchants seeking to improve customer communication and lead generation through multi-channel support. The significantly higher rating and numerous positive reviews suggest a proven track record of delivering on its promises. Its comprehensive feature set, including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and more, makes it a versatile tool for businesses of all sizes looking to connect with customers on their preferred platforms.
Story Style might be suitable for stores prioritizing visual appeal and aiming to modernize their navigation with a familiar social media interface, but the lack of reviews presents a risk. It is best suited for merchants who are very confident in their design skills, but the risk outweighs the benefit given the lack of track record compared to a well-established tool like Chaty. Given the options, Chaty is the better and lower risk choice in nearly all circumstances. Given the lack of reviews, Story Style should only be considered if its functionality is highly desirable and the user is willing to test the product thoroughly.
Common Questions
Which app is better for increasing sales?
Chaty is likely to be more effective for increasing sales directly by enabling instant communication and addressing customer queries in real-time. While Story Style can indirectly influence sales through improved navigation and engagement, its impact is less direct.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Without direct user reviews about ease of use, it's hard to definitively say. Chaty's multiple integrations might present a steeper learning curve. Story Style might be easier to set up if it primarily involves website design customization. However, testing and evaluation are key to confirm, particularly for Story Style given the lack of reviews.
Which app is better for mobile users?
Both apps claim to function well on mobile devices. Chaty's WhatsApp and other chat integrations are naturally suited for mobile communication. Story Style's Instagram story-like format is also inherently mobile-friendly.
Which app provides more detailed analytics?
Chaty explicitly mentions tracking customer interactions via Google Analytics, suggesting a focus on data-driven insights. Story Style doesn't mention analytics, implying it may not offer the same level of tracking capabilities.
If my store already uses a live chat app, do I need Chaty?
If your current live chat app effectively supports your desired communication channels and provides sufficient features, Chaty might be redundant. However, if you're looking to consolidate multiple messaging platforms into a single widget or lack features like preset messages and Google Analytics integration, Chaty could be a worthwhile upgrade. But if you already have a live chat feature, adding another could clutter your site.
