Our Verdict
Checkout Bear is a niche app best suited for Shopify Plus merchants who want to heavily customize their checkout page to optimize conversions through urgency and trust. The low review count suggests it's a relatively new or less widely adopted solution, making it potentially riskier. Essential Upsell & Cross Sell, with its significantly higher rating and review count, is the more established and generally applicable option. It's ideal for merchants of all sizes looking for a comprehensive upsell and cross-sell solution across multiple touchpoints in the customer journey. For merchants not on Shopify Plus or looking for a wider range of upsell strategies, Essential Upsell & Cross Sell is the clear winner.
