Checkout Blocks & Customizer vs PrettyDamnQuick (PDQ)for Shopify (2026)
Checkout Blocks & Customizer and PrettyDamnQuick (PDQ) both operate within the "Checkout - Other" category on Shopify, aiming to enhance the checkout experience. However, they appear to approach this goal from significantly different angles. Checkout Blocks & Customizer, while boasting a perfect rating, has a very small sample size of reviews (5), making its long-term reliability difficult to gauge. PDQ, on the other hand, positions itself as a comprehensive checkout optimization platform, focusing on A/B testing, personalization, and automation driven by AI, supported by a significantly larger number of reviews (69). PDQ emphasizes converting more sales through a data-driven and experimental approach, functioning like a CRO lab within the checkout flow. PDQ's feature set is much more robust, offering real-time delivery promises, checkout extensions like upsells and delivery assurance, AI-powered insights, and post-purchase tracking pages to boost repeat sales. Checkout Blocks & Customizer's lack of specific feature details makes it difficult to assess its capabilities beyond basic checkout customization. PDQ caters to merchants actively seeking to optimize their checkout process through experimentation and automation to maximize conversion rates and customer lifetime value. Our Verdict
Given the limited information available about Checkout Blocks & Customizer, it's difficult to provide a definitive recommendation. However, based on the available data, PrettyDamnQuick (PDQ) appears to be the superior choice for merchants who are serious about optimizing their checkout process and increasing conversion rates. Its comprehensive feature set, including A/B testing, AI-powered insights, and post-purchase engagement tools, offers a more robust and data-driven approach to checkout optimization.
Checkout Blocks & Customizer *might* be a suitable option for merchants with very basic checkout customization needs and limited technical expertise, but the lack of information about its features and reliability makes it a riskier choice compared to PDQ, which has a solid review base. Ultimately, if conversion and checkout optimization are top priorities, PDQ is the clear winner.
