Checkout Links by Edi&P vs Ultimate Postal Code Blockerfor Shopify (2026)
Checkout Links by Edi&P and Ultimate Postal Code Blocker are both Shopify apps that fall under the 'Checkout - Other' category, but they serve drastically different purposes. Checkout Links by Edi&P focuses on boosting sales and improving customer retention through the creation of smart, trackable checkout links. It aims to enhance the customer journey by facilitating direct checkout, reordering, and promotional offers across various channels like email, SMS, and social media. A key strength lies in its analytics and A/B testing capabilities to optimize link performance. On the other hand, Ultimate Postal Code Blocker, based on the very limited data, appears to address a niche requirement: restricting access to specific products or the entire store based on postal codes. This is likely relevant for merchants dealing with geographical limitations on shipping, legal restrictions, or exclusive regional offerings. While both apps have a perfect 5/5 rating, Checkout Links by Edi&P has significantly more reviews (23) compared to Ultimate Postal Code Blocker (1), suggesting a broader user base and longer market presence (or more aggressive review solicitation). The lack of details for Ultimate Postal Code Blocker makes a full comparison challenging.

Our Verdict
For the vast majority of Shopify merchants looking to increase sales, improve marketing efforts, and boost customer retention, Checkout Links by Edi&P is the clear choice. Its comprehensive feature set for creating smart checkout links provides a versatile tool for driving revenue across various channels. The analytics and A/B testing capabilities offer valuable insights for optimizing marketing campaigns.
However, if a merchant *specifically* requires the ability to restrict product access based on geographical location via postal codes, then Ultimate Postal Code Blocker is the relevant solution, assuming it fulfills the necessary requirements for accuracy and flexibility. Given the lack of detailed information about Ultimate Postal Code Blocker, merchants should thoroughly investigate its capabilities and limitations before committing to it. The significantly lower number of reviews also warrants caution.
