C:Hub Customer Accounts vs OTP Login with Phonefor Shopify (2026)
C:Hub Customer Accounts and OTP Login with Phone both address Shopify's 'Accounts and login' category, but cater to distinct needs. C:Hub Customer Accounts focuses on enhancing the entire customer account experience post-login, offering customization, order management features (reordering, cancellation), and integration with other apps. It aims to boost engagement and revenue by providing a centralized and feature-rich customer portal. In contrast, OTP Login with Phone prioritizes simplifying and securing the login/registration process itself, using one-time passwords via phone or email instead of traditional passwords. This app enhances security and convenience during the initial account access phase. While C:Hub seeks to improve the logged-in customer experience, OTP Login focuses on optimizing the entry point to that experience. The choice between the two depends on whether the priority is streamlined account access or enhanced account features after access.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily concerned with improving the post-login customer experience, offering features like order management, profile editing, and a branded account page, C:Hub Customer Accounts is the better choice. Its emphasis on customization and integration allows for a tailored customer portal. However, if the main priority is to streamline and secure the login process itself, reducing friction for new users and enhancing account security, then OTP Login with Phone is more suitable. It simplifies the entry point to the store, a crucial factor for customer retention and conversion. Merchants could even use both apps in tandem - OTP Login to get the customer in, then C:Hub to enhance their account experience once logged in.
