Our Verdict
C:Hub Customer Accounts is the superior choice for merchants primarily selling directly to consumers (B2C) who want to enhance the customer account experience with personalized features and improved order management. The higher number of reviews suggests a wider user base and potentially more extensive testing. Upro B2B & Wholesale is ideal for businesses operating in the B2B or wholesale space, particularly those requiring features like bulk ordering, credit limit management, and financial ledger tracking. Upro is essentially useless for merchants who don't have B2B/wholesale workflows.
Common Questions
Can C:Hub handle bulk ordering?
No, C:Hub does not offer bulk ordering functionality. It focuses on individual customer order management.
Does Upro integrate with regular Shopify accounts, or only Shopify Plus?
The app description explicitly states integration with Shopify Plus, suggesting limited or no functionality with standard Shopify accounts.
Is C:Hub suitable for B2B businesses?
While C:Hub enhances the customer account experience, it lacks specific B2B features like credit limits or bulk ordering. It may be suitable if your B2B sales resemble B2C and require basic account enhancements only. However Upro is built for B2B and will be a better fit.
Does Upro allow customers to pay invoices through their account?
Yes, Upro includes a financial ledger and payment history inside customer accounts, implying the ability to view and potentially pay invoices.
What are the key differences in customization between the two apps?
C:Hub allows customization of menus, branding, and styling of the customer account. Upro focuses on customizing text, fonts, and design to match the store's theme, primarily within the B2B ordering and credit management features.
