CJdropshipping: Much Faster vs MyDesigns: Print on Demandfor Shopify (2026)
CJdropshipping: Much Faster and MyDesigns: Print on Demand both fall under the 'Sourcing options' category on Shopify, but they cater to very different needs and merchant types. CJdropshipping focuses on providing a comprehensive dropshipping solution, encompassing product sourcing from suppliers (including 1688, Taobao, and AliExpress), automated product listing, order fulfillment, and even options for product and packaging customization (POD, OEM). Their value proposition lies in offering a wide variety of factory-priced products and efficient delivery, particularly through local warehouses with a claimed 2-3 day delivery time. MyDesigns: Print on Demand, on the other hand, is solely focused on Print on Demand (POD) services. It provides tools for creating, publishing, selling, and fulfilling custom-designed products. Its strength lies in offering a premium mockup generator and bulk publishing capabilities, aiming to save time and enhance sales for businesses already invested in the POD model. While both apps offer fulfillment, CJdropshipping handles a broader range of products, while MyDesigns specializes in personalized print-on-demand goods. The target audience differs greatly; CJdropshipping aims at general dropshippers, while MyDesigns is geared towards businesses exclusively utilizing the POD business model.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking to start a general dropshipping store with a wide variety of products and need assistance with sourcing and order fulfillment, CJdropshipping: Much Faster is the better choice. Its ability to import products from multiple sources, combined with its potential for faster delivery through local warehouses, makes it a strong contender. The 24/7 support is also valuable for beginners.
However, if your business is *solely* focused on creating and selling custom print-on-demand products at scale, MyDesigns: Print on Demand is the superior option. Its features are specifically tailored to streamline the POD process, from mockup generation to bulk publishing and personalized fulfillment. While its review count is significantly lower, its perfect rating suggests a high level of satisfaction among its user base who are likely very targeted.
Common Questions
What type of products does CJdropshipping support that MyDesigns does not?
CJdropshipping supports a wider range of products, including those sourced from 1688, Taobao, and AliExpress. It also supports DIY bundle product combinations, features absent from MyDesigns, which specializes in custom print designs.
Which app is better for faster shipping?
CJdropshipping claims a 2-3 day delivery time via local warehouses. MyDesigns doesn't specify delivery times. Therefore, CJdropshipping may offer potentially faster shipping, assuming local warehouse fulfillment is available for chosen products.
Is it possible to use both apps at the same time?
Potentially, yes. A merchant could use CJdropshipping for general product dropshipping and MyDesigns for POD products. However, this would involve managing two separate systems for product management and fulfillment, so careful consideration is needed.
Which app offers more control over the customer experience?
Both offer different aspects of control. MyDesigns gives more control over the actual product design and customization, allowing for truly unique items. CJdropshipping offers more control over sourcing and fulfillment options.
Which app is easier to scale my business with?
Both are built for scale, but in different ways. MyDesigns emphasizes bulk publishing and streamlined POD fulfillment, which helps with scaling POD offerings. CJdropshipping's broad product selection and automated processes can facilitate scaling across a more diverse product range.
