Claimbase: Instagram Sales vs Modern Dropshipfor Shopify (2026)
Claimbase: Instagram Sales and Modern Dropship cater to distinct segments of Shopify merchants. Claimbase focuses on leveraging Instagram to drive sales, likely targeting smaller businesses or individual entrepreneurs looking to maximize social commerce potential. Its perfect 5/5 rating, though based on a smaller sample size, suggests high user satisfaction within its niche. Modern Dropship, on the other hand, positions itself as a solution for retailers aiming to rapidly expand their product offerings through automated dropshipping, facilitated by their partnership with Carro. They appear to target larger retailers seeking to onboard new brands and categories quickly, offering integrations with multiple e-commerce platforms. The primary difference lies in their core value proposition. Claimbase aims to streamline sales through Instagram, while Modern Dropship emphasizes dropshipping automation and brand onboarding. Modern Dropship's deeper integrations with multiple platforms, CSV uploads, and EDI support indicates a focus on retailers who have more complex business needs than merchants interested in just simple instagram sales solutions. Modern Dropship also requires qualifying retailers, indicating that it is not targeted to every merchant, unlike Claimbase.

Our Verdict
For merchants heavily invested in Instagram marketing and needing a dedicated tool to boost sales through that platform, Claimbase: Instagram Sales is a potentially strong choice, especially given its perfect rating (though from a smaller pool of reviews). However, for retailers looking to diversify their product lines and automate dropshipping operations across multiple platforms, Modern Dropship is the more suitable option. The Carro partnership and comprehensive onboarding features suggest a robust solution for scaling product catalogs quickly, despite a slightly lower (but still high) rating and indication that merchants need to 'qualify'. Modern Dropship would be preferred by larger, more established retailers.
