Claimbase: Instagram Sales vs NAPPS | Mobile App Builderfor Shopify (2026)
Claimbase: Instagram Sales and NAPPS | Mobile App Builder are both highly rated Shopify apps (5/5), but they serve fundamentally different purposes. Claimbase focuses on streamlining sales through Instagram, likely offering features for tagging products, managing shoppable posts, and potentially integrating with Instagram's shopping APIs. NAPPS | Mobile App Builder, on the other hand, empowers merchants to create native mobile apps for their Shopify stores. This suggests it provides tools for designing, building, and managing a mobile app presence for iOS and Android devices. While both aim to increase sales, they target different channels and involve distinct technical requirements. The primary differentiator lies in their core functionality. Claimbase is designed to leverage Instagram's existing user base and shopping features to drive direct sales from social media. NAPPS, by contrast, aims to create a dedicated mobile app experience, offering potentially enhanced branding, push notifications, and offline access (if supported), but requiring customers to download and install the app. Given the difference in review count, NAPPS appears to be the more established app, potentially indicating broader adoption or a longer presence in the Shopify app store. Merchants must consider where their target audience spends their time and how they prefer to shop. If Instagram is a key driver of sales and engagement, Claimbase is a compelling choice. If building a dedicated mobile presence with advanced features and direct engagement through push notifications is a priority, NAPPS is the more suitable option.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants heavily reliant on Instagram for sales and marketing, Claimbase: Instagram Sales appears to be the more logical choice. It offers a direct route to monetizing an existing social media presence. However, for merchants prioritizing a premium mobile experience with features such as push notifications, offline access (if supported), and a dedicated app icon on customers' phones, NAPPS | Mobile App Builder is the better option, despite the higher barrier to entry and the need to drive app downloads.
Given the small number of reviews for both apps, it's crucial to thoroughly investigate their features and support before making a decision. If a merchant already has a substantial mobile presence and simply needs a Shopify-integrated app, NAPPS is superior. If they are starting from scratch and heavily active on Instagram, Claimbase wins.
