Claimbase: Instagram Sales vs Tatari Tag Managerfor Shopify (2026)
Claimbase: Instagram Sales and Tatari Tag Manager, while both falling under the "Advertising - Other" category on the Shopify app store, cater to drastically different needs. Claimbase focuses on leveraging Instagram for sales, presumably offering features related to product tagging, shoppable posts, or direct sales through the platform. It boasts a higher number of reviews, suggesting a broader user base, although both apps maintain a perfect 5/5 rating. Tatari Tag Manager, on the other hand, is a highly specialized tool designed specifically for merchants running TV advertising campaigns. It's designed to install and manage pixels for tracking the effectiveness of these campaigns, attributing website funnel events to TV ads. The core difference lies in the advertising channels they support. Claimbase is for merchants looking to harness the power of Instagram to drive sales, possibly simplifying product discovery and purchase directly within the app. Tatari Tag Manager is for merchants investing in TV advertising and need a robust solution for tracking its impact on their website traffic and conversions. Tatari also emphasizes privacy compliance in data handling. Therefore, a key factor in choosing between the two is the merchant's primary advertising strategy and their current engagement with TV advertising.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants heavily invested in Instagram marketing and seeking tools to improve their sales and engagement on the platform, Claimbase: Instagram Sales is likely the better choice. Its focus on the Instagram ecosystem makes it ideal for those who already have a strong presence or are looking to build one. The higher number of reviews also suggests a more established user base. However, if the merchant is running TV advertising campaigns and needs precise tracking and attribution of website conversions back to those campaigns, Tatari Tag Manager is the clear winner. Its specialized features for pixel management and privacy compliance make it invaluable for measuring TV ad performance.
