Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing rapid email list growth through engaging popups, ClawCrane: Game & Email Popup is the superior choice. Its gamified approach offers a unique and potentially more effective way to capture email addresses than traditional popups. The lower number of reviews could suggest a newer app with a smaller user base, but the 5/5 rating is promising.
Giveaway Gator is best suited for merchants who run frequent or complex giveaways and sweepstakes. Its robust features, such as bonus entries, multiplier products, and integration with Shopify Flows, provide the tools needed to manage large-scale campaigns effectively. However, the single review may indicate the need for more thorough research before committing to the app.
