Our Verdict
Choosing between Clay and Gelato depends entirely on the merchant's business model. If the merchant operates a B2B business and needs tools to manage wholesale pricing tiers and customer segmentation, Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing is the clear choice. If the merchant wants to offer custom-designed products without the burden of inventory management, Gelato: Print on Demand is the superior option.
For merchants focusing on direct-to-consumer sales of customizable products, Gelato's global reach, AI design tools, and fulfillment network provide a significant advantage. However, if the core business model revolves around wholesale transactions and requires sophisticated pricing strategies, Clay is more suitable despite the lower number of reviews. While Clay's perfect rating is noteworthy, consider the much larger sample size of Gelato's reviews when evaluating overall satisfaction.
