Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing vs Replic: Buy Digital Wholesalefor Shopify (2026)
Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing and Replic: Buy Digital Wholesale are both Shopify apps in the Wholesale category, but they cater to vastly different needs. Clay appears to focus on enabling existing Shopify merchants to offer wholesale pricing to their B2B customers. It has a strong track record with a 5/5 rating based on 81 reviews, suggesting a reliable and well-received solution for its intended purpose. Replic, on the other hand, is designed to connect fabric, knitting, quilting, and craft stores with independent pattern designers, enabling them to easily sell digital patterns without inventory risk. The primary difference lies in their functionality: Clay helps merchants manage wholesale pricing for their *existing* products, while Replic provides access to a *new category* of digital products (patterns) to sell. Replic also streamlines the digital product delivery process, automatically emailing customers download links upon purchase. The lack of reviews for Replic is a significant data point and suggests it's a very new app or potentially has usability issues. Both apps offer a wholesale experience, but one focuses on *pricing*, while the other focuses on *product sourcing*.
