Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing vs Request For Quote by CCfor Shopify (2026)
Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing and Request For Quote by CC both target Shopify merchants operating in the wholesale space, but they address different needs. Clay focuses on streamlined B2B pricing strategies, enabling merchants to offer tiered pricing based on customer segments or order volumes. The very high rating and volume of positive reviews suggests that Clay provides a well-executed solution for managing complex B2B pricing. Conversely, Request For Quote by CC aims to facilitate customized pricing through a request-based system, allowing customers to inquire about specific product details and negotiate prices. It places more emphasis on personalized communication and bespoke deals. It has a very low rating and few reviews, suggesting a need for improvement. The crucial difference lies in their approach. Clay automates and standardizes B2B pricing, while Request For Quote by CC relies on a manual, interactive process. Clay is likely more suitable for businesses with established B2B relationships and a need for scalable pricing solutions. Request For Quote by CC, on the other hand, caters to businesses that thrive on individual negotiations and personalized customer interactions, potentially those dealing with high-value or specialized products.

Its focus on automating and scaling B2B pricing provides a clear advantage for businesses aiming to streamline their wholesale operations.
However, if a merchant prioritizes highly personalized interactions, thrives on negotiation, and deals with high-value or specialized products that benefit from custom quotes, Request For Quote by CC might be considered, with the caveat that its low rating and limited reviews suggest a potentially challenging user experience.
