Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing vs ShineOn: Print On Demandfor Shopify (2026)
Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing and ShineOn: Print On Demand cater to vastly different segments of the Shopify ecosystem, despite sharing a 'Sourcing options' category. Clay focuses on enabling merchants to implement wholesale pricing strategies, allowing them to effectively manage B2B sales. It boasts a perfect 5/5 rating, albeit with a significantly smaller review base (81) compared to ShineOn. This suggests a very satisfied, albeit smaller, user base primarily concerned with wholesale functionalities. ShineOn, on the other hand, targets merchants interested in a Print On Demand (POD) business model, specifically within the jewelry and broader customizable product space. With a rating of 4.5/5 based on 483 reviews, ShineOn appears to be a well-established and generally well-received solution within the POD sector. Its core strengths lie in facilitating fast USA-based production and shipping, a wide selection of customizable products, and providing training resources for new POD business owners. The emphasis is on ease of use and a supportive community, enabling merchants to quickly launch and scale their POD ventures. The target audiences of the two apps are therefore very distinct.

Our Verdict
Choosing between Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing and ShineOn: Print On Demand depends entirely on your business model. If you are an established business looking to expand into wholesale, Clay is likely the better choice, offering the tools needed to manage B2B pricing effectively. The perfect rating, though based on fewer reviews, suggests high satisfaction among its target user base.
Conversely, if you're looking to start a business with minimal upfront investment and want to leverage the print-on-demand model, specifically with an emphasis on USA-based production and a wide selection of customizable products, ShineOn is the clear winner. Its lower, but still high, rating is based on a much larger review volume, suggesting widespread adoption and a proven track record within the POD space. The provided training resources also make it very attractive for new entrants to the market.
