Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing vs Spocket: US & EU Dropshippingfor Shopify (2026)
Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing and Spocket: US & EU Dropshipping both aim to enhance sourcing options for Shopify merchants, but cater to fundamentally different business models. Clay focuses on enabling B2B wholesale pricing strategies, empowering merchants to offer tiered pricing and manage wholesale relationships effectively. Conversely, Spocket is a dropshipping app centered around connecting Shopify stores with suppliers primarily in the US and Europe, allowing merchants to source and sell products without holding inventory. The key differentiator lies in the inventory management approach. Clay assumes the merchant already has a product and needs tools to manage pricing for wholesale buyers. Spocket, on the other hand, provides a marketplace of products ready to be dropshipped, with features for automated order fulfillment and fast shipping. While both apps touch on pricing – Clay for wholesale and Spocket offering 'wholesale prices' discounts from suppliers – their core functionalities serve distinct business needs: B2B wholesale versus dropshipping.

Our Verdict
The choice between Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing and Spocket: US & EU Dropshipping depends entirely on the merchant's business model. If a merchant already has products and aims to sell them wholesale to other businesses, Clay is the clear choice. Its features are designed to handle B2B pricing structures.
Conversely, if a merchant wants to start an online store without the hassle of managing inventory, Spocket is the better option. Its dropshipping model allows merchants to source products from suppliers, primarily in the US and Europe, and have them shipped directly to customers. While Spocket has a lower rating, it boasts significantly more reviews, indicating a larger user base and potentially more diverse experiences. Merchants should carefully weigh the higher rating of Clay against the larger user base and dropshipping-focused features of Spocket when making their decision.
Common Questions
Can I use Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing for dropshipping?
No, Clay is designed for managing wholesale pricing for B2B sales, not for dropshipping. It assumes you already have products and need to offer different prices to wholesale customers.
Does Spocket allow me to set wholesale pricing for my own customers?
Spocket provides access to suppliers who may offer wholesale prices. However, Spocket's primary function is sourcing and fulfillment, not managing your own wholesale customer pricing tiers. The 'wholesale prices' mentioned refer to potential discounts from suppliers, not your own B2B pricing structure.
Which app offers faster shipping?
Spocket emphasizes fast shipping with its focus on US and European suppliers. Clay does not directly impact shipping speed as it focuses solely on pricing strategies.
Which app is easier to use?
Ease of use is subjective and depends on the merchant's needs. Clay's interface likely centers around pricing rules and wholesale customer management. Spocket likely focuses on product discovery and automated order fulfillment. There isn't enough data to definitively claim one is easier than the other.
What kind of support do the apps provide?
Spocket explicitly states they provide 24/7 VIP customer support. Clay does not mention its support offerings within the given data. More research would be required to compare support options.
