Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing vs T: Dealer Inquiryfor Shopify (2026)
Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing and T: Dealer Inquiry both utilize forms, but serve fundamentally different purposes. Clay focuses on enabling B2B wholesale pricing strategies for Shopify merchants. With a strong 5/5 rating based on 81 reviews, it's positioned as a reliable and well-regarded app for managing tiered pricing and wholesale discounts. In contrast, T: Dealer Inquiry aims to streamline the process of acquiring new dealers by allowing potential partners to submit inquiry forms. The core difference lies in their target audience and functionality. Clay is designed for merchants who already have or want to develop a wholesale business segment. T: Dealer Inquiry, on the other hand, targets merchants actively seeking to expand their distribution network through dealerships. While T: Dealer Inquiry offers customization options for inquiry forms and email templates, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating raise concerns about its usability and effectiveness. The presence of Google reCAPTCHA indicates a focus on security for the dealer inquiry form.

Our Verdict
For merchants focused on establishing or scaling a B2B wholesale program, Clay: B2B Wholesale Pricing is the clear choice due to its positive reviews and established reputation. The 5-star rating and numerous reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution for managing wholesale pricing structures.
In contrast, T: Dealer Inquiry is a riskier option. While it offers the potential to simplify dealer recruitment, the lack of reviews and a 0/5 rating raise serious concerns about its functionality and support. It might be suitable only for merchants willing to take a chance on an unproven app and dedicate significant time to testing and troubleshooting. Merchants should carefully consider the risks before investing in T: Dealer Inquiry. Unless they are comfortable with a zero-star rated app, it's not possible to recommend T: Dealer Inquiry.
