Clean Sweeps: Buy‑to‑Enter vs Discount Spinner – LuckSpinfor Shopify (2026)
Clean Sweeps: Buy‑to‑Enter and Discount Spinner – LuckSpin both target Shopify merchants looking to gamify the shopping experience and boost sales through giveaways and contests. However, they approach this goal with vastly different mechanics. Clean Sweeps focuses on purchase-based sweepstakes, referral programs, and spend-based incentives. This app aims to reward existing customers and acquire new ones through organic word-of-mouth marketing within the Shopify ecosystem. In contrast, Discount Spinner – LuckSpin centers around a simpler, single-mechanic approach: a spin-the-wheel interface offering discounts, making it more directly focused on immediate sales conversion. The key differentiator lies in their target audience and complexity. Clean Sweeps offers a comprehensive suite of tools aimed at fostering customer loyalty and encouraging repeat purchases through longer-term engagement strategies. It integrates sweepstakes with the purchase process, referral system, and upsell incentives. Discount Spinner – LuckSpin, on the other hand, is more geared toward merchants seeking a quick and easy method to capture visitor attention and incentivize initial purchases through randomly awarded discounts. Its simplicity makes it attractive for merchants who want minimal setup and a direct impact on conversion rates.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants looking for a comprehensive solution to reward purchases, build customer loyalty, and leverage referral marketing, Clean Sweeps: Buy‑to‑Enter is the better choice. The app's integration with the purchase process, referral system, and upsell incentives provides a more holistic approach to customer engagement.
However, if the primary goal is to quickly convert website visitors into paying customers with minimal setup effort, Discount Spinner – LuckSpin is a viable option. Its simple spin-the-wheel mechanic can be effective for capturing attention and incentivizing immediate purchases. But given the lack of reviews and ratings for Discount Spinner, proceed with caution and thoroughly test its functionality before relying on it for your business. The 5-star rating and positive reviews, albeit limited, for Clean Sweeps gives it an edge in terms of trustworthiness.
