Cleverific Order Editing vs EOE ‑ Easy Order Editingfor Shopify (2026)
Cleverific Order Editing and EOE ‑ Easy Order Editing both aim to reduce support tickets and order cancellations by empowering customers to edit orders post-purchase. However, they differ in scope and maturity. Cleverific is positioned as a comprehensive order management solution, offering a broader range of features including self-serve order editing for customers, order editing for store staff, draft order creation, abandoned cart recovery, and order editing automations. It caters to merchants seeking extensive customization and control over their order editing process, including complex scenarios like custom orders, wholesale orders, and preorders. EOE, on the other hand, focuses primarily on streamlining basic post-purchase edits, such as shipping address, product variants, and quantities. EOE prioritizes ease of use and straightforward functionality, appealing to merchants with simpler order editing needs. Its user-friendly interface and quick invoice generation are highlights. Cleverific, while offering more features, may require a steeper learning curve to fully utilize its capabilities. The significant difference in the number of reviews (231 vs. 11) suggests that Cleverific has a longer track record and a larger user base, though EOE boasts a perfect 5-star rating. The choice between the two depends on the merchant's specific requirements, with Cleverific catering to those needing a comprehensive solution and EOE ideal for those seeking a simple and user-friendly app for basic order modifications.

Our Verdict
For merchants looking for a robust and feature-rich order editing solution that handles complex scenarios such as custom orders, wholesale orders, and abandoned cart recovery, Cleverific Order Editing is the stronger choice despite its slightly lower rating and potentially steeper learning curve. The breadth of features and established user base provide a more comprehensive solution for businesses with diverse order management requirements.
However, for smaller businesses or those primarily needing a simple and easy-to-use app for basic post-purchase edits like address changes and variant modifications, EOE ‑ Easy Order Editing is the better option. Its perfect 5-star rating (though based on fewer reviews) and focus on simplicity make it an attractive choice for merchants prioritizing ease of use and a straightforward user experience. The explicit mention of potential manual payment capture highlights a potential limitation that should be considered when making a decision.
