Cleverific Order Editing vs Replyco ‑ eCommerce Helpdeskfor Shopify (2026)
Cleverific Order Editing and Replyco ‑ eCommerce Helpdesk, while both categorized as 'Helpdesk' apps on Shopify, cater to vastly different needs and target different merchant types. Cleverific focuses on empowering customers with self-service order editing capabilities and streamlining internal order management. Its core strength lies in enabling merchants to reduce support tickets related to order changes, offer upsells post-purchase, and manage custom orders more efficiently. This is achieved through automated workflows and direct customer access to order modification. Replyco, on the other hand, is a centralized helpdesk solution designed to consolidate customer inquiries from various channels into a single inbox, thereby improving response times and customer support efficiency. Its strength is in providing a comprehensive view of the customer, including order history, to facilitate informed and personalized support interactions. The primary distinction lies in their approach to customer interaction. Cleverific aims to deflect support requests by enabling self-service, whereas Replyco focuses on efficiently managing incoming support requests. Cleverific is suited for merchants who want to proactively reduce their support workload and offer greater autonomy to their customers. Replyco is better suited for merchants who prioritize providing responsive and personalized customer support, even if it requires direct interaction. While both apps contribute to improved customer experience, they do so through fundamentally different strategies. The small number of reviews and low rating of Replyco compared to Cleverific indicates that it may need more polish or isn't as popular with merchants compared to Cleverific at this time.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking to reduce support tickets related to order modifications and empower customers with self-service options, Cleverific Order Editing is the clear choice. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews suggest a reliable and well-received solution. It is especially valuable for businesses handling custom orders, wholesale, preorders, or those frequently facing customer requests for order changes. Conversely, for merchants primarily focused on providing responsive and personalized support across multiple channels, Replyco ‑ eCommerce Helpdesk offers a centralized solution to manage customer inquiries. However, the significantly lower rating and review count suggests that potential users should carefully evaluate whether it meets their specific needs and potentially look for alternatives with higher ratings and more robust feature sets if available. Because of the ratings, customer reviews, and feature sets, Cleverific is the stronger product.
Common Questions
Does Cleverific offer features similar to a helpdesk?
While Cleverific reduces support tickets by enabling self-service, it's not a full-fledged helpdesk like Replyco. Its focus is order editing, not general customer support ticket management.
Can Replyco be used for order editing?
Replyco facilitates order editing through direct interaction with the customer, but it does not offer automated self-service order editing features like Cleverific.
Which app is better for a new Shopify store?
It depends on the business model. A new store with simple orders might benefit more from Replyco for handling initial customer inquiries. A new store with complex product options and customizations might find Cleverific more useful to reduce initial support volume.
Is it possible to use both apps together?
Yes, it is possible. Cleverific can handle order editing, while Replyco manages general customer support inquiries. This would provide both self-service order options and centralized support.
Which app is more cost-effective in the long run?
It depends on the volume of support tickets. Cleverific can potentially be more cost-effective for businesses with high volumes of order-related support requests, as it automates the process. However, Replyco might be more suitable for stores with more complex customer support interactions outside of order changes.
