Clickable Image Banner ‑ CB vs PreviewBuilder: Link Imagefor Shopify (2026)
Clickable Image Banner ‑ CB and PreviewBuilder: Link Image both aim to enhance Shopify storefronts by allowing merchants to create clickable image banners. Clickable Image Banner - CB emphasizes simplicity and control, positioning itself as a tool for easily turning static images into interactive elements for guiding customer flow and highlighting key content through specific links. It boasts features like separate desktop and mobile images, multiple banner sizes, and optional text/button overlays. PreviewBuilder: Link Image, while also focusing on linking images, lacks detailed feature descriptions in the provided data, making a direct feature-by-feature comparison challenging. The limited data suggests it addresses the same general need but without the clarity on specific banner customization options or user-friendliness. Given both apps are in their early adoption phase (based on review counts), it's difficult to definitively assess long-term reliability.

Our Verdict
Clickable Image Banner ‑ CB is better suited for merchants who need granular control over banner appearance and targeting, offering features like separate mobile/desktop images and customizable overlays. Its higher (though based on fewer reviews) rating may indicate higher user satisfaction for these features. PreviewBuilder: Link Image is potentially more suitable for merchants who need a straightforward solution for linking images without advanced customization options. The larger number of reviews might suggest wider adoption, however, the absence of feature details makes it difficult to endorse over Clickable Image Banner ‑ CB. Merchants should investigate additional reviews and documentation for PreviewBuilder: Link Image before making a decision.
