Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing detailed analysis of order data using Google Sheets, Cloud Order Export & Sync is the clear choice. Its real-time synchronization and filtering options provide a robust solution for creating custom reports and tracking key performance indicators. On the other hand, Track To Inventory is designed for businesses that import goods and need to efficiently manage inventory based on shipping documents. If the core need is to automate inventory updates from shipping instructions and reduce manual data entry, Track To Inventory is a more appropriate solution. However, the lack of reviews for Track To Inventory adds a level of risk compared to Cloud Order Export & Sync, despite the latter's limited review count as well.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Cloud Order Export & Sync likely has a simpler setup process since it primarily integrates with Shopify's order data and Google apps. Track To Inventory requires OCR and AI to process shipping documents, which might involve a more complex configuration.
Does Cloud Order Export & Sync track inventory levels?
No, Cloud Order Export & Sync focuses on order data and does not directly track inventory levels. It's designed to provide order information for analysis and reporting, not inventory management.
Can Track To Inventory handle different document formats?
Track To Inventory supports PDF and image formats for shipping documents, using OCR and AI to extract relevant information.
Is either app suitable for dropshipping businesses?
Cloud Order Export & Sync could be valuable for dropshipping businesses that need to track order data for analytics or reconciliation. Track To Inventory may be less directly relevant for dropshipping, as it focuses on managing inbound shipments, which is not a typical dropshipping function.
What happens if Track To Inventory fails to read information from a shipping document?
Track To Inventory uses AI to attempt to automatically補完 (supplement) any information it couldn't read from the shipping document. This reduces the amount of manual input required from the user. However, the user might still need to verify and correct the AI-generated information.
