CM: Catalog2Cart‑Shoppable PDF vs FieldsRavenfor Shopify (2026)
CM: Catalog2Cart-Shoppable PDF and FieldsRaven are both Shopify apps operating in 2026, but they target vastly different merchant needs and technical skill levels. CM: Catalog2Cart focuses on enhancing product catalogs by making PDF versions interactive and shoppable, providing a user-friendly experience for customers to add products directly from the catalog. Its strength lies in visual merchandising and a simplified shopping process for customers who prefer browsing catalogs. In contrast, FieldsRaven empowers merchants with technical expertise to manipulate metafields directly on the storefront using Liquid, HTML, and JS. It facilitates highly customized customer journeys and theme personalization through advanced data management. While both apps enhance the Shopify experience, their target audiences and functionalities are distinct. CM: Catalog2Cart caters to merchants who want to improve the visual appeal and interactivity of their catalogs without requiring coding knowledge. FieldsRaven is designed for developers or technically proficient merchants seeking granular control over their store's data and customer experience via metafield manipulation. Our Verdict
CM: Catalog2Cart-Shoppable PDF is best suited for merchants who have existing PDF catalogs and wish to provide a more interactive and user-friendly shopping experience for their customers. Its simplicity and focus on visual merchandising make it ideal for businesses that value aesthetics and ease of use. FieldsRaven, on the other hand, is tailored for developers and technically inclined merchants who require fine-grained control over their store's data and customer experience. If you need to build highly customized customer journeys or deeply personalize your theme based on data collected on the storefront, FieldsRaven is the more powerful and flexible option.
Given the current data (or lack thereof) the higher rating and existence of reviews for FieldsRaven suggest a slightly more established track record of customer satisfaction, however, the zero rating of CM: Catalog2Cart is not necessarily an indicator that it's a bad choice. It could simply be a new app with no reviews yet. If your focus is specifically on interactive catalogs, CM: Catalog2Cart is worth investigating further. However, if you need to manipulate metafields and personalize the customer journey using code, FieldsRaven is the clear choice, assuming you possess the required technical skills.
