Our Verdict
For merchants needing a range of customization options beyond just file uploads, such as text input, date pickers, and conditional logic, CM: Custom Fields Personalizer is the better choice. Its comprehensive feature set and higher number of reviews suggest a more robust and versatile solution. While its rating is slightly lower, its larger user base offers a deeper pool of experience to draw from.
On the other hand, if a merchant's sole focus is enabling customers to upload files and images for product personalization, LC File Upload, Image Upload may be preferable. While it has fewer reviews, its perfect rating indicates strong satisfaction from its current users and its focused functionality potentially simplifies the user experience for this specific use case. However, the lack of stated support hours and other features provided by CM should factor into the decision.
