Our Verdict
For smaller merchants or those new to product customization seeking a simple and supported experience, CM: Custom Fields Personalizer is the better choice. The no-code interface and readily available 24/7 support will be particularly valuable. However, if a merchant requires advanced customization options, including color swatches, variant images, and capabilities to upsell customized products, SC Product Options is the stronger contender. While its interface might have a steeper learning curve, the extensive features and focus on increasing average order value justify the investment for larger, more complex Shopify stores.
