Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing an enhanced auditory experience on their Shopify store, CN Audio Player is the clear choice. It offers a customizable audio player ideal for showcasing music, podcasts, or other audio content. However, the lack of reviews makes it a riskier option. Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Story is better suited for merchants heavily invested in video marketing. With a significant number of positive reviews and features like shoppable videos, web stories, and zero impact on site speed, Vidjet offers a robust solution for increasing sales and engagement through video content. Vidjet is a safer bet given its larger user base and focus on measurable results.
Common Questions
Which app is better for selling audio products, like music or audiobooks?
CN Audio Player is likely the better choice, as it is specifically designed for audio playback and customization. It allows you to create playlists and customize the player to match your brand.
Does CN Audio Player impact my website's loading speed?
The app description doesn't explicitly mention the impact on site speed, so it's difficult to say. You should test it on your site and potentially reach out to the developer to confirm before committing.
Which app offers more advanced analytics?
Vidjet Shoppable Videos +Story provides real-time analytics, including sales, engagement, and ROI. CN Audio Player does not explicitly state that it provides analytics.
Which app is easier to integrate with my existing Shopify store?
Both apps are advertised as easy to use, no-code solutions. However, Vidjet's description includes "bulk-embed videos on thousands of pages, without using code" which implies a streamlined bulk integration process.
Which app is better for a merchant new to both audio and video marketing?
Vidjet, due to its higher review count, detailed features (web stories, carousels) and emphasis on analytics, would be more beneficial to new merchants interested in experimenting with video marketing to drive sales. CN Audio Player might be better for niche merchants dedicated to audio-based content.
