CN Before & After vs Moast Shoppable Videos & UGCfor Shopify (2026)
CN Before & After and Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC are both highly rated (5/5) Shopify apps in the 'Images and media' category, but cater to vastly different needs. CN Before & After focuses specifically on enabling merchants to create interactive image comparison sliders. This allows showcasing transformations, product differences, or visual storytelling through before-and-after views. Its strength lies in its simplicity and customization options for this specific feature, targeting merchants needing a simple, visual tool to emphasize change or comparison. Common Ninja appears to cater to a store who wants to clearly demonstrate key features, showcase before/after images of their product, or any key selling point the customer needs to see for a product. While its feature set isn't detailed in the provided data, the app name suggests it allows merchants to embed shoppable videos and feature user-generated video content. This implies a focus on engagement, social proof, and driving direct sales through video. The app is targetted at merchants who want to grow their user-base by displaying user-generated content (UGC) to attract new and potential customers.

Choosing between CN Before & After and Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC depends entirely on the merchant's needs. If the goal is to highlight visual transformations or product differences in a clear, interactive way, CN Before & After is the better choice due to its focused feature set and customizable slider options. While the review count is low, it still has a 5/5 rating.
However, if the merchant's strategy revolves around leveraging video content and user-generated content to drive engagement and sales, Moast Shoppable Videos & UGC is the clear winner. The significant number of reviews (107) with a 5/5 rating suggest it is a well-received and effective app for its intended purpose. However, the absence of detailed feature descriptions for Moast limits definitive claims, and the smaller app from Common Ninja could still grow in use and popularity.
