Our Verdict
Based on the information available, Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) appears to be the better choice for merchants seeking to boost COD conversions by reducing checkout friction with its 1-Click Order Form feature, provided the low review count is kept in mind. It's also a good option if you require multi-language support. However, COD ‑ Cash on Delivery for UAE might be preferable for merchants who want granular control over payment and shipping options within the native Shopify checkout, especially those primarily operating in the UAE or with specific regional requirements.
Ultimately, the best app depends on the merchant's specific needs. If increasing conversions is the priority, Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) with its streamlined order form is likely the stronger contender. However, if highly specific checkout customization and rule-based control within the existing Shopify checkout is required, especially in the UAE, then COD ‑ Cash on Delivery for UAE may be more suitable, but the lack of reviews is a substantial risk factor.
