COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay vs Codify CODfor Shopify (2026)
COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay and Codify COD are both Shopify apps designed to enhance the Cash on Delivery (COD) experience, but they target different aspects of the process. KashPay focuses on streamlining the order process itself, aiming to improve conversion rates and Average Order Value (AOV) through a customizable, one-click COD order form. It caters to merchants who want to simplify the purchasing process for their customers. Codify COD, on the other hand, centers on fraud prevention and COD management, helping merchants reduce Return To Origin (RTO) losses by verifying COD orders via OTP and controlling COD availability based on various criteria. The core difference lies in their primary goal: KashPay prioritizes ease of ordering and AOV maximization, while Codify COD emphasizes security and cost reduction. KashPay offers extensive form customization and aims to reduce friction in the ordering process. Codify COD offers features focused on OTP verification, COD restrictions based on zip code, product, or order value, and additional COD fees. While both can improve the COD process for merchants, one targets improving the customer journey and increasing sales, while the other minimizes risks and losses.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants aiming to boost sales and AOV by simplifying the COD ordering process, COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay is the better choice. Its focus on customizable, one-click forms and integrated shipping rates can lead to increased conversions. However, merchants struggling with high RTO rates, fraudulent COD orders, and needing granular control over COD availability should opt for Codify COD. Its OTP verification, COD restriction features, and additional fee options offer a robust solution for managing risks and optimizing COD profitability.
Given the relatively low number of reviews for both apps, it is important to consider each app's feature set in relation to the merchant's specific requirements. For example, a high-volume store losing considerable money to fraudulent orders may benefit far more from Codify COD, even with fewer reviews than KashPay. Conversely, stores in markets where customers are sensitive to checkout friction may benefit from KashPay.
