It targets merchants seeking to streamline COD orders and reduce cart abandonment by simplifying the ordering process. Key features include a form builder with extensive customization options, integrated shipping rates, and the ability to embed forms on various pages. Our Verdict
COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay is ideally suited for merchants who want to fundamentally redesign their COD ordering process, simplifying it for customers and increasing AOV through customization and a streamlined one-click flow. The ability to embed forms on different pages provides flexibility. PayRules: Hide Payment Methods is better for merchants needing granular control over which payment methods are displayed to customers, likely based on factors not explicitly mentioned in the app description (e.g., customer location, order value). If a merchant struggles with high COD order abandonment rates or wants to improve the checkout experience specifically for COD customers, KashPay is the better choice. If they need to control payment method visibility based on specific criteria to optimize the checkout flow more broadly, PayRules is the more suitable option.
Common Questions
Which app is better for reducing cart abandonment for COD orders?
COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay is specifically designed to reduce cart abandonment by simplifying the COD ordering process with a one-click form.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, yes. COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay focuses on the COD order form, while PayRules manages payment method visibility. They could coexist, but careful configuration is needed to avoid conflicts.
Which app offers more customization options?
COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay offers extensive customization options for the COD order form, including layout, fields, and text. PayRules likely provides customization options related to rule creation and management for payment method visibility, but this is not explicitly stated in the description.
Which app is better if I need to offer COD only to specific customer groups?
PayRules: Hide Payment Methods *could* be used for this (if its rules allow showing/hiding COD based on customer groups, which isn't clear). However, COD Form & Builder - KashPay doesn't appear to offer any features to only show COD to certain customers, and its primary function is simplifying COD ordering. A different app targeting payment gateway visibility based on customer groups is probably a better fit. PayRules may achieve this indirectly.
Does either app integrate with third-party shipping providers?
COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay mentions integrated shipping rates, implying some level of integration. PayRules doesn't mention shipping at all.
