Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with simplifying the COD order form creation with full customization, COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay is a suitable option, particularly given its higher number of reviews. However, for merchants needing more sophisticated control over when COD is offered based on factors like location, order value, or specific products, Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) offers a more robust solution with its smart COD visibility rules, despite having fewer reviews. A key consideration is whether the advanced rule system of Progus COD is necessary, or if the simpler approach of KashPay suffices. Consider the language support for Progus COD to be a strong advantage if you operate internationally.
Common Questions
Which app offers more customization options for the COD form itself?
Both apps claim 'full customization', making it difficult to differentiate solely based on the descriptions. Testing a trial of both apps is recommended to determine which form builder better suits your needs.
Which app is better for international businesses?
Progus COD (Cash on Delivery), with its support for 130+ languages, is likely the better choice for international businesses. KashPay does not specify language support.
Which app is easier to set up and use?
KashPay claims to have a 'user-friendly form builder,' suggesting a potentially simpler setup process. However, without a direct comparison or user reviews addressing ease of use specifically for both apps, it's hard to say definitively. A merchant's individual technical expertise will also be a factor.
If I only want to offer COD to certain customers, which app is best?
Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) provides more granular control over who can use COD with its ability to hide/show COD based on customer tags. Kashpay does not have a similar feature explicitly mentioned.
Which app will help me avoid fraudulent COD orders?
Progus COD's ability to hide COD based on ZIP code, order value, and other conditions, offers some protection against potentially fraudulent orders. KashPay does not explicitly mention features to mitigate COD fraud.
