COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay vs RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Feefor Shopify (2026)
COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay and RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee represent two distinct approaches to managing cash-on-delivery options on Shopify in 2026. KashPay focuses on optimizing the order capture process by providing a customizable, one-click COD order form designed to improve conversion rates and average order value (AOV). It targets merchants who want to streamline the checkout experience specifically for COD orders, potentially reducing abandoned carts and boosting sales through a simpler, more appealing form. The emphasis is on customization and presentation of the order form itself, with features like integrated shipping rates and flexible field arrangement. RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee, on the other hand, centers on control and financial management of COD transactions. Its primary strength lies in adding COD fees and defining eligibility rules based on various conditions like customer location, order amount, and currency. This app is suitable for merchants seeking to offset the costs associated with COD orders and implement specific business rules regarding COD eligibility. It emphasizes flexibility in how COD payments are offered, rather than focusing on the visual aspects of the order form. While both apps address COD, they cater to different merchant needs: conversion optimization versus financial management.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing streamlined checkout and conversion rate improvements specifically for COD orders, COD Form & Builder ‑ KashPay is the better choice. Its focus on customizable order forms provides a tailored experience that could lead to higher AOV. However, RUBIX Cash on Delivery:COD Fee is ideal for merchants primarily concerned with mitigating the financial burdens associated with COD. If your focus is on adding fees to COD orders based on specific criteria to offset shipping or handling costs, RUBIX is the more suitable option.
Merchants should consider their primary pain point with COD. If abandoned carts during the COD checkout are a major issue, KashPay likely provides a better solution. If the problem is the cost of managing COD orders, particularly for specific locations or order values, RUBIX offers the necessary controls.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to use?
It depends on your goals. KashPay might be easier for merchants familiar with form builders. RUBIX might be more intuitive for those comfortable with rule-based systems.
Can I use both apps together?
Potentially, but careful consideration is needed. Using both could lead to a highly customized but potentially confusing COD experience for the customer. Thorough testing is crucial.
Which app offers better reporting?
Based on the provided data, neither app explicitly mentions advanced reporting features. Further investigation into each app's documentation would be needed to determine reporting capabilities.
Is either app compatible with other payment gateways besides COD?
The descriptions focus solely on COD. Compatibility with other payment gateways is not mentioned and would need to be verified with the app developers.
Does either app offer A/B testing features?
Neither app description mentions A/B testing. If A/B testing different COD form designs or fee structures is important, this feature would need to be confirmed.
