Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with maximizing profit by encouraging prepayment and directly reducing RTO through payment strategies, COD King is the more robust option. Its upfront/partial payment feature and COD to prepaid conversion tools offer a comprehensive approach to securing committed buyers. However, if a merchant's main priority is to control exactly who can place COD orders based on product type, location, or order value, then Codify COD's granular COD availability controls are the superior choice. Given the significant difference in the number of reviews, COD King also appears to be more widely adopted and potentially battle-tested, providing a degree of social proof.
