COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify vs EVM Spin Wheel ‑Discount Wheelfor Shopify (2026)
COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify and EVM Spin Wheel ‑Discount Wheel serve entirely different purposes for Shopify merchants. COD King focuses on reducing Return-to-Origin (RTO) and Return-to-Sender (RTS) costs associated with Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, primarily targeting merchants in India and Egypt based on feature availability. It achieves this by verifying COD orders via OTP, offering split payments upfront, adding fees to COD payments, and providing discounts for prepaid orders. Its core strength lies in optimizing the checkout process to improve order fulfillment rates and profitability by converting COD to prepaid. EVM Spin Wheel ‑Discount Wheel, on the other hand, aims to increase email list growth and engagement through gamification. It allows merchants to create spin-to-win discount popups, offering a fun and interactive way to attract new customers and reduce abandoned carts. The app's value proposition centers around lead generation and creating a more engaging shopping experience, rather than addressing issues with order fulfillment like COD King. The target audience for EVM Spin Wheel is broader, encompassing any merchant looking to grow their email list and improve customer engagement.

Our Verdict
COD King is ideal for merchants struggling with high RTO rates on COD orders, especially in India and Egypt, where specific features like COD-to-prepaid conversion are supported. Its focus is on improving operational efficiency and reducing losses related to order fulfillment. EVM Spin Wheel, on the other hand, is better suited for merchants aiming to expand their email marketing list and enhance customer engagement through gamification. It's a more marketing-focused tool designed to attract new customers and encourage purchases.
Choosing between the two depends heavily on the specific challenges a merchant faces. If reducing RTO/RTS and streamlining COD processes are paramount, COD King is the clear choice. If the goal is to boost email sign-ups and create a more interactive shopping experience, EVM Spin Wheel is the more appropriate option. A merchant *could* use both, but they address entirely separate parts of the business.
