Our Verdict
COD King, with its established reputation and focus on RTO reduction using OTP verification and partial payments, is suitable for merchants, especially in India and Egypt, who struggle with high return rates and want to aggressively combat fake orders. JustCOD, while lacking a track record, offers more flexibility in customizing the COD experience and blocking fraudulent buyers. This might appeal to merchants who prioritize customization and need a tool to control the COD process based on various factors like location, customer tags, or product types. Given the lack of reviews for JustCOD, merchants should exercise caution and potentially wait for user feedback before fully committing.
Common Questions
Which app is better at reducing RTO (Return to Origin)?
COD King, with its OTP verification and partial payment features, is specifically designed to reduce RTO. JustCOD offers buyer blocking but its impact on RTO isn't directly specified.
Which app offers more customization options for the checkout experience?
JustCOD appears to offer more comprehensive customization options, allowing merchants to modify COD labels, messages, and confirmation emails. COD King focuses more on showing/hiding COD based on parameters.
Which app is more suitable for merchants outside of India and Egypt?
While COD King does mention its support in India and Egypt, this suggests it might work best there. JustCOD doesn't specify any geographic limitations, making it potentially more suitable for merchants outside those regions initially, but this needs testing.
Does JustCOD offer any form of order verification?
JustCOD doesn't provide OTP verification. Instead, it allows merchants to block COD for potentially fraudulent buyers or those with a history of frequent returns.
Is it safe to choose an app without reviews?
Choosing an app without reviews involves risk. While JustCOD might offer unique features, the lack of user feedback makes it difficult to assess its reliability, ease of use, and overall effectiveness. Thoroughly test before full implementation.
Which app is better for instantly reducing fake orders?
COD King with its OTP verification is likely better for instantly reducing fake orders. Requiring an OTP adds a layer of security that discourages unserious buyers.
