Our Verdict
COD King is the superior choice for merchants dealing with significant RTO/RTS problems and seeking a comprehensive solution to reduce fake orders and boost prepaid conversions. Its OTP verification and partial payment features offer robust protection against unserious buyers. The focus is on converting COD to prepaid in India and Egypt. However, the complexity of its features might require more setup and configuration.
OnlyWeb Payment Method Rules suits merchants who need a simple, no-code solution to control payment method visibility based on cart value. It's ideal for those who want to discourage COD for low-value orders or encourage prepaid payments for higher-value orders. The lack of reviews makes it difficult to assess reliability and ease of use, so proceed with caution.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, OnlyWeb Payment Method Rules seems easier to set up, as it emphasizes its no-code approach and seamless Shopify integration. COD King likely requires more configuration due to its broader feature set.
Which app is more effective at reducing RTO/RTS rates?
COD King is specifically designed to reduce RTO/RTS rates through OTP verification and partial payments, making it the more effective choice for this purpose. OnlyWeb might indirectly help, but this is not its core function.
Which app is suitable for merchants outside India and Egypt?
While COD King explicitly supports India and Egypt, OnlyWeb Payment Method Rules doesn't specify geographic limitations. However, depending on the payment gateways available, COD King may not be suitable outside supported regions. OnlyWeb Payment Method Rules might be a better option globally if it supports the required payment gateways.
What if I need both OTP verification and payment method rules?
If you need both OTP verification and control over payment method visibility, you might need to consider using both apps or searching for an alternative app that combines these features. Evaluate whether the cost of running both apps is justified by the benefits.
Why does OnlyWeb Payment Method Rules have no reviews?
The absence of reviews for OnlyWeb Payment Method Rules could indicate that the app is new, has a small user base, or has not yet been widely adopted. Proceed with caution and consider testing the app thoroughly before committing to a long-term subscription.
