COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify vs Quiz Kit: AI Product Finderfor Shopify (2026)
COD King and Quiz Kit are fundamentally different Shopify apps, despite both utilizing notifications in some capacity. COD King targets a specific pain point: reducing losses due to Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, particularly in regions like India and Egypt. It aims to verify order intent through OTP verification, encourage prepaid orders with discounts, and potentially add COD fees. Its strengths lie in its focused approach to mitigating RTO/RTS costs and improving conversion rates from COD to prepaid, targeting merchants heavily reliant on COD payment methods. Quiz Kit, on the other hand, takes a broader approach to improving the shopping experience through personalization and AI-driven product discovery. It empowers merchants to build product quizzes and AI-powered sales assistants to guide customers, increase AOV, and capture email leads, making it suitable for a wider range of e-commerce businesses looking to enhance customer engagement and product discovery.

Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Quiz Kit claims to offer effortless quiz creation with AI assistance and requires no code. COD King's setup likely depends on how technical the location-based COD hiding and fee settings are, but generally seems simpler in scope, although might need integration with SMS/WhatsApp providers.
Which app is better for increasing average order value (AOV)?
Quiz Kit is specifically designed to boost AOV through personalized product recommendations and guided selling. COD King might indirectly increase AOV by incentivizing prepaid orders, but its primary focus is on reducing losses.
Which app is more relevant for stores outside India and Egypt?
Quiz Kit is more universally applicable, while COD King's value is highly dependent on the prevalence of COD as a payment method and the challenges associated with it, especially in India & Egypt.
Do both apps offer analytics and reporting?
Quiz Kit explicitly mentions detailed conversion analytics and A/B testing. COD King does not explicitly mention detailed analytics, but would likely provide data on COD vs Prepaid conversion rates and RTO reduction.
Can both apps integrate with marketing platforms?
Quiz Kit offers seamless integrations with Klaviyo, Omnisend, and Attentive for marketing automation. COD King's SMS/WhatsApp notifications could integrate indirectly through those platforms but doesn't mention direct integrations.
