COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify vs SA Request a Quote, Hide Pricefor Shopify (2026)
COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify and SA Request a Quote, Hide Price are both Shopify apps that aim to improve the online shopping experience for merchants and their customers, but they address very different problems and target distinct merchant types. COD King focuses on mitigating losses associated with Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, particularly Return to Origin (RTO) and fake orders. It provides tools for OTP verification, partial payments, COD fees, and COD-to-prepaid conversions. SA Request a Quote, on the other hand, centers around price negotiation and quote management, allowing customers to request quotes for products, suggest prices, and bargain for the best deals. It also offers features to hide prices or the add-to-cart button, catering to B2B and D2C businesses with complex pricing strategies or custom order requirements. The primary difference lies in their core functionality and value proposition. COD King aims to reduce risk and increase profitability for merchants who rely heavily on COD payments, especially in regions like India and Egypt where COD is prevalent. It targets merchants frustrated by high RTO rates and unserious buyers. SA Request a Quote is designed for businesses that want to offer personalized pricing, handle custom orders, or cater to B2B clients who often require bulk discounts and negotiated rates. It provides tools for managing quote requests, tracking customer interactions, and converting quotes into orders. While both apps use notifications, their purpose is different: COD King uses SMS/WhatsApp for order verification and conversion, while SA Request a Quote uses notifications to track quote requests and customer engagement.
